OUR COMMITMENT TO A JUST, EQUITABLE, DIVERSE, ACCESSIBLE AND INCLUSIVE WORLD
The Center for Biological Diversity believes that social, economic and environmental issues are interconnected. It is necessary to promote and embrace diversity and justice to create the social change needed to protect the environment and all who depend on it.
In 2015 the Center created a Justice, Equity, Diversity, Accessibility and Inclusion committee to work with Center leadership and staff in facilitating the growth and strength of justice, equity, diversity, accessibility and inclusion in all areas of our organization. The committee is led by our people services director and made up of up to 12 members of rotating staff from a range of areas within the Center. Committee members are a resource for all staff to develop, promote and support JEDAI initiatives.
